Honestly? I didnt know anything about him until fairly recently.
I figured he was just some guy who had some interesting experiences as a white-collar office worker and decided to make a comic out of it. I found a lot of them very relatable.
Then he turned out to be a whacko.
I thought he fancied himself as Dilbert, the hard-done-by but otherwise relatively normal office worker when, in fact, it appears the he was more like Wally.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised… and I hate the league and sport already… but I can’t believe the NFL is seemingly silent on all this ####.
I saw Doc Rivers call the killing of Renee Good “straight up murder”. Good. More please, since the meatheads sure aren’t watching the news.

Just more stupid horses*** from Trump’s mouth meant to appease the hardcore MAGA base. As we’ve already heard from pretty much every major business sector in the U.S., they need CUSMA just as much as Canada and Mexico do. I still don’t think it’s going anywhere, and it’ll probably be re-negotiated. However, the Trump administration is gonna put a ton of pressure on Canada to make concessions with dairy supply management and our laws regarding streaming platforms, etc… Not sure how much we can budge on those issues, if at all. but Carney and his team will have to walk a very fine line to try and get some kind of deal done while maintaining at least somewhat friendly relations.

We've already shown a potential path with alcohol sales. If #### comes up from the States you just don't buy it. Put pressure on companies that do. Spread the word that American dairy is poison, and with their lax regulations, it probably is.

I don't understand what you mean?
The NHL has released no statement.
The NBA has released no statement.
The NFL has released no statement.
What did you expect?

I personally prefer that sports teams and their players stay out of politics. They are allowed to have opinions just like you and I, but they shouldn’t be pressing their opinions on anyone. Same goes for actors edit: (although slightly different because they are just a guy / gal who are also allowed to have an opinion, it just shouldn’t hold more weight because they are famous).

To think because a kid worked really hard and made the NHL that he is required to have an opinion on politics and let everyone know what his opinions are? I respectfully disagree.

Expressing an opinion is not the same as forcing anyone to follow it (You know, the MAGA way). There's no difference between an athlete or actor expressing an opinion, and some guy on a message board expressing his opinion.
Besides, I like knowing who supports pedo racist scumbags and who doesn't.

The Trump administration is ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali immigrants, making it easier to deport thousands of people from the US.
|
Quote:
|
TPS prevents US officials from deporting immigrants to countries deemed unsafe. Starting March 17, around 2,500 Somalis will lose their work authorisations and legal status, making them eligible for deportation.
|
Quote:
"Temporary means temporary," Noem said in a statement to the BBC. "Further, allowing Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is contrary to our national interests. We are putting Americans first."
Congress established TPS in 1990 to give refuge to people from countries that experienced war or environmental disasters. Immigrants with TPS authorisation are typically allowed to live and work legally in the US.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told the BBC that there are 2,471 Somali nationals with TPS, and 1,383 people with pending applications.

Oh look, Nazi America has ramped up to full speed. I'm sure the date is a coincidence. Imagine living and making a home in a country for 30 years, and been given 2 months to return to the country of war you left decades ago. "Ya, sure, let me just quit my job, sell my home, pull my kids from school, and I guess GTFO before you throw me in an immigration prison in El Salvador to live the life of a slave."
#### these fascist mother####ers and every one of their enablers and supporters. I hope they all get ass cancer and die, painfully.

You shouldn’t have to eexpress your opinion but I say you should have to so I know how to feel!
Thats what you just said .
Also your absolutely delusional if the average goes withb16 followers says some thing vs an althete/actor with multiple millions of followers says some thing. That's a new kind of delusional I didn't have on my 2026 bingo card. Mechanic Joe says the elite are reptiles vs. Taylor Swift says the elite are reptiles. Let's see how many ppl re-tweet that crazy.

Speaking of delusional, nowhere did I say anyone has to express their opinion, nor did I say anyone has to use someone else's to know how to feel. Just that someone with a billion followers has the same right to express it as someone with 1 follower.
The sad fact that people believe something just because someone they idolize believe it doesn't mean they shouldn't express it. If Joe Blow wants to believe something because his favourite athlete believes it, that's a problem with how Joe Blow speaks, not the athlete, and it's not on the athlete that Joe Blow is a moron.
Mechanic Joe and Taylor Swift in your example have the same right to say what they think. They're not responsible for how others think or react or respond.
At what point should people no longer express their opinions? 1000 followers? 100,000? 1 million? What's that line where suddenly they are too popular so they are now muzzled.
But yes, if someone famous, such as Taylor Swift, or not-famous, such as yourself, expresses an opinion, anyone else reading or hearing that opinion is allowed to use that information to decide whether or not they want to hear more from that person, or like that person. How else do you decide whether or not you admire or respect someone, than learning more about what they think?

Let's hope so, I'm sick of paying twice the American cost for cheese just so rich dairy famers in Quebec can get richer.

Food security is equal to National security. I don't give a crap about American companies coming to "reduce prices" in if it negatively affects our own ability to produce food for our own nation. This is massively important.

We talking cheese again? Lol
American cheese is required, by law, to have 51% cheese products in it.
The other 49%, who knows. Cheese here doesn't melt.
Except Wisconsin cheese. It's like Canadian cheese, but 3x the price and not as nice.
