Team Canada Hockey Eligibility

Players who have every Canadian team on their NTL should not be eligible for the Olympic team.

I understand this would be near impossible to enforce for a number of reasons. NTL's are confidential, etc.

If playing for Canada is important, it shouldn't be hard to leave at least 1 Canadian team off your NTL/NMC list.

If Canadian players want to win the Stanley Cup, they must go to a US team to do so. I'm on the side of having as many winners on the Olympic team as possible. If you ban players that have a Canadian team on their no trade list, you're banning people with ambition.

I care a lot more about Team Canada winning the Olympics than I do about players leaving the Leafs off their no-trade list.
