Hardly a disappointment. Development isn't always linear, and plenty of prospects have been sent back to Junior after spending time in the AHL. I remember a kid named Ferland who had a lot of fitness and off-ice issues getting sent back, and a lot of people gave up on him as a lost cause. A season later, he gets a late call-up and turned into Ferkland, running guys over and being a fan favourite.
Way too early to be down on Basha, especially since he is probably trying to play catch-up after having almost an entire season lost to injury. Plenty of time for this kid.

I have watched him play 90% of his games since first year timbits. Hes looked like some poo.
But the one thing he is good at is reacting when he feels slighted. I have seen this on multiple occasions. Hes his best with a chip on his shoulder. Plays like a maniac.
Lets hope he finds it again.

Yeah someone has to speak fact around here even if it’s unpopular
This is the dud some people were claiming the steal of the second round not too long ago. He has shown none of it in the AHL

My guess would be either:
A) made up number, or
B) I don't need to watch because the stats tell me everything I need to know.
He was consistently ranked above where we took him which, despite there being some potential red flags related to him dropping, is typically a sign that we got good value for the pick.
Seems like the Flames have done the right thing in getting him back to junior.

The thread has been overwhelmingly positive, but he's not different than any other player. If you have familiarity with someone it's probably better to just avoid the thread. I remember you called Curtis Glenncross pathetic a couple months ago, can't get too upset at comments in this thread if you're throwing around comments like that.

All I can get

The organization made a miscue moving him to pro after he had missed out on development time due to injury. Should've been in junior all this season.
Next season will be the tale of the tape.

Andrew Basha with three assists last night for the Tigers making a very good Medicine Hat PP even better since his arrival.

He got to play with the Ruck twins, who have been devouring the WHL in the last 15 games or so. Markus Ruck had 4 points last night, and Liam had 3.

Perhaps, he learned a few extra tricks in the AHL to really stick it to these junior kids though

Yes sir and Bryce Pickford recorded a hat trick and five points last night. Now just one goal behind Kris Russell's total of 32 goals for most by a Tigers defenseman in a season.

That would be something to pick up another centre prospect for free.
