If you like metalcore and female vocals, give Gore. a listen. Nothing groundbreaking, but the vocalist is excellent (and she's a NASA engineer, which is freaking badass) and they have an interesting bit of shoegaze in their sound. Really liked their recent EP "If You Do Not Fear Me ...".

I'll check that release out - you can definitely hear the inspiration from early German thrash bands, I love it.
