Ya, I was pretty pumped about it. Sharks, Ducks, and Mammoth would all be better trading partners than the VGK, Stars, Leafs. It was posted here ~10 days ago.

They would like to add a couple vets surrounding the young talent but not as rentals. Defense is the priority hence the interest in Andersson. There are 1-2 other names on defense they are after as well.

Anyways, thought I'd share.

Also I've lived in San Jose for 16 years now (after previously living in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray growing up) and the area is amazing. I can see why players would want to play here.

How is it gloomy? They can legit make the playoffs.

Talking about trade speculations, even unrealistic ones like Iginla or Desnoyers is so much more fun than these wasteful driveby comments that you then pile on top of to suck up dozens of posts (air in the room) before we can get back to something more interesting.

The trade freeze ends in an hour here and 2 hours for the PST teams. It is really weird that the trade freeze is tied to local times....

Anyway, do we think the trade is tomorrow?!??!?
