This is good so far. My apathy has set in for the season and this is simply affirmation that the Flames are pretenders that need to sell assets by the deadline. Not sure why we had to have a bunch of meaningless wins. Don't get sucked in people. You're going to get set up for more heartbreak and frustration. At some point, the lack of high end talent cannot be overcome.

Flames are third last in the league after tonight. Great work Huska, really amazing coach.

After this year he will have made the playoffs in 1 of 7 years as a head coach, and has won a single playoff game.
You were arguing a ack of offense, but they have been 7th in the league offensively for the last month or so

So now it's their record

the team is bad. They are rebuilding. Not everything is the coach's fault. Give it a rest.

You said 3 points out … which isn’t correct no matter how you sort

It’s a reasonable mistake glancing at standing sorted by % but you are still wrong

Can we keep Andersson, and trade Weegar and Kadri.

I am not sure I want to see how nonchalant they are for rivalry games without Andersson in the lineup.

For such a crap team, wish we had some actual tough guys.

Nobody really wanted to fight an oiler. Brutal to watch alongside a boring team

You cant use one measurement for your ordering (points percent) and then say they are x points behind. You are mixing metrics. You have to use one or the other. If you saying they are a certain points out of a playoff spot you have to sort by points.

Yeah, complaining about their system is a bad faith argument.

One of seven years in the playoffs as a professional head coach. One playoff game win.

Really elite resume with a proven track record of success.

Bet he's really cheap though.

Easy big fella, you said they were 3 points out of a playoff spot and they are not. Nothing to be upset about.

Speaking of that, how many points were the Flames up on Winnipeg and Chicago last place Chicago (who have a game in hand)?

It’s bad faith when you claim the system involves things that it doesn’t (like no forechecking).

I bet you loved Hartley.

Ok let’s say they make it to the playoffs

For what? To be embarrassed again?

This is the thing about math (I know you and Mathgod do not understand math). But if you are citing one metric (let’s call it 3 points out of a playoff spot) and then you use a different metric (points percentage) to determine how far out of the playoffs you are using different metrics.

The Flames are currently 5 points out of the playoffs (based on points). That is the simple math of it based on Mathgod’s statement.

But now the tank crew can celebrate this loss. 2 more McKenna points as you say.

Don’t think you’ll have to worry. Math will take care of it.
