My girlfriend is selling her 2019 Ford EcoSport SES AWD. She's looking to get into a bigger car, and likely an EV.

It's a clean one-owner car with no accidents or otherwise tainted history. Great value for money given the low mileage and trim level compared to the other EcoSport listings in Alberta.

Because FB Marketplace is full of morons and I had so many people lined up, and every single one would flake out at some point during the process, usually just going silent but a few of them at the last minute for asinine reasons.

Scorp got in touch with me over CP while I was enduring that process and basically provided a sure thing, albeit at a slight discount compared to what I was asking. Even then, his offer was still much, much more competitive than what the JLR dealer wanted to steal it for. That deal with Scorp allowed us to make a deal on the local Jag we wanted to buy in the first place at a financed amount my girlfriend and I were happy with.

$10,500 initial offer, I got them up to $11,500. JLR was chasing gross in the trade to make up for the bath they're likely taking on the Jag since I believe it was a 90 day unit.

Dealers and private sellers are asking at least $14,000+ for ones with 1.75-2x the mileage and lower trim levels, and only once you get to the $18k retail mark do you start to find similar vehicles in year, trim, and mileage.
