So I took most advice here. Went to doughnut party in Marda loop. Got a dozen of fancy ones. Holy are they expensive.

I just went up to the tenth floor but I couldn’t remember what ward I was in but an orderly directed me in a door that was restricted. ICU area. Went to the desk and explained it. Broke down a bit being back there but whatever. Still did not figure out the nurses names. But good enough.

Now I have to figure out who donated my valve who had likely died prior.

When I was little, I used to wonder if all cars moved based on how much you let your foot off the brake, rather than apply the gas. Not sure how I figured if the earth was spining and you let your foot off the brake more, you'd go faster. Dummy kid brain.

This guy at work, I work at a chinese company so there are a few chinese employees.

Trying to put in to context and not be racist.

One of our engineers mothers went back to China and was hit by a bus tragically and died. He's devstated, went back for a few weeks. Do not really work with him but when I heard I could relate, barely with recent dead parents.

So I engage and ask him. Definitely a language barrier. Told him my situation and he said his. We hugged. Now we are buds. We just had a good hug session. I don't think he's used to white people being like this. Greatest guy and gentle as hell. Feel so bad for him.

This drains me. I wanna help him more.

Not gonna lie, when this popped up I was shocked. I thought this had happened a decade ago.

I do not recall an MTV channel since...I cant even guess when. What was on it? MTV stopped showing music videos at the end of the 90s or something. What was the content?

The fact that there was an 'MTV Channel' for the past 20 years seems crazy.

I recently got an Avion points card. Had an aeroplan one for years but ditched it because they were constantly devaluing them and a "free trip" just became a 10% discout by the end.

Are Avion the same way where fees and surcharges are stupid?
