I hate to be the one to defend the Oiler's, but their schedule is actually one of the harder ones, with the Flames having one of the easiest schedules overall.

Edmonton:
(13) B2B
(20) 3 in 4 days
(26) 4 in 6 days (tied 2nd)
(27) 6 in 10 days (most in league)
(1) 5 in 7 days (Only 12 teams do this all season)

Calgary:
(9) B2B (tied lowest)
(10) 3 in 4 days (lowest)
(12) 4 in 6 days (lowest)
(9) 6 in 10 days (2nd lowest)
(0) 5 in 7 days

Edmonton plays 16 games on the opponents 2nd game of a B2B, Flames 14. Flames also travel less KM's, with Flames opponents traveling over 7,000km more over the season.

TL;DR: E=NG

Evwry other stat is irrelevant. In the all-important stat of No Goodness per GP, Edmonton will always be the most No Good.

oilers fans know who to blame then. it's not the scoring, defending or goaltending!

I seen an article yesterday saying the Oilers had the 28th hardest remaining schedule for the year.

I was referring to the actual schedule, not the opponent strength remaining. And I think remaining opponent strength is a bit overblown with the parity in the league. Hardest remaining schedule (Calgary) is a Pts% that would be 96 points over 82 games. Edmonton being ranked bottom third is 93 points over 82 games. Basically the difference between a 8th and 9th place team.

Hyman is a solid player. Made of glass lately, but a solid player. No way he makes Team Canada, however, and he isn't even close. Who is he going to unseat? Hagel? Good luck with that.

Pissing in a circle like that explains why they’re so stinky.

Who would have bet that the Flames would have a 3 game winning streak this season before the Stanley Cup Conteda Greasepigs?

I can only imagine that a coach once told Mavi that team defending was a lot like ketchup; that it’s for others and not him.

Here’s his home spouse (starts with “L” and ends with “N” and has 2 vowels side by side just like the work spouse): “He’s never even tried it, to be honest,” Lauren said. “If I’m having it with a meal, I have to get it from the fridge; he will not put it back in the fridge or touch the bottle. It has to be at the other end.”

“He’s seen [the fans dressing up as ketchup], and I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry I exposed you on that show’… He does think it’s funny, and he’s still afraid of ketchup; he won’t have it.”

Just like team defence.

It must make him happy to know that it’s mustard on Oilers faithful sweatpants, otherwise he would be uncomfortable around them too. Oh wait…

Then he trumped it with his OT effort.

ZERO chance TC would pick him

That is definitely a Darwin nominee...and probably also an Oiler fan as well.

Evan Bouchard is clearly the cameraman. 20 feet away, in protection, and he still panics at the first hint of contact.
