Ya that was tongue in cheek. Can’t imagine there is much of a market for Danault though, he is basically a more expensive Backlund who may not have the scoring touch anymore.

The key here is a thin center market. Once Danault and ROR are moved, Kadri is a highly coveted asset around the league.

It would be extremely stupid not to trade Kadri this year particularly if the market is hot for him. It’d be very Flamesy not to, but this organization as mentioned as nausem needs a new approach. I know you don’t agree but I don’t really care, consider me not really talking to you but others if possible.

LOL, it would be great if they traded Kadri. I’ve never said different. BUT, if they trade Frost, they probably need Kadri and would trade him next season instead of this season (and I believe he will hold his value).

But please, keep mischaracterizing my position.

Flames might have too many draft picks for a true proper rebuild. The Habs only had 5 first round picks that they took over the past 4 years. The Flames are at 4 in the last two years.

Habs only had 3 2nd round picks over the past 4 years. Flames are already at 3 over the past 2 years alone.

They might have too many draft start trading picks to have a properly executed rebuild like the Habs.

Picking 3 times in the top 5 is no different than picking 16-32. Quantity=quality
