In past years I always got the sense the Oilers would bounce back from their slow start. I don’t really get that feeling this year. I think they finish the season with 37-38 wins and right around the .500 mark.

They lost a lot of good pieces and McDavid and Draisaitl are a year older. If I were an Oilers fan I’d be really worried they missed their window.

Yeah Bedard seems to have figured out the NHL now.

Improved his skating and now he can use those offensive skills he had but with enough pace that they are deadly at the NHL level.

The goal and and shootout goal were both unreal last night.
