Based on these numbers he’d have been lucky to sell out the jube.
I don't think it's as poor as you seem to think. Not going, but i think full floor and lower level and 80-90% second level will be the dome based on what I saw when I was searching.

Nah it looks pretty bad, some tickets now more than 50% below their original face.

Tough luck for folks that bought tickets early. Might have spent hundreds more than anyone buying today.

I don't think the words "fair" and "Ticketmaster" are ever gonna be in the same sentence, but surely the fair thing to do first is let people who already paid get moved into better seats and then resell their tickets for below face. Curious if it'll make for a more hostile crowd, I know I'd be pretty pissed to pay double what the guy next to me did for a show that isn't sold out.

I get the impression that this is going to be a complete debacle. I'm not sure why this was so poorly organized, but announcing a show a couple of weeks ago with next to no advertising seemed unusual in the first place. Now, the ticket sales are bad (who would've guessed), and you have a building that is too large, half of which is closed off?

Yeah a last minute booking for a Saddledome event is super uncommon. Strange for sure.

There’s a Trivago parody in all of this that would be gold.

Chappelle also insists that everyone put their smart phones into these neoprene pouches. I saw him a few years ago live, and it made getting into the stadium a complete debacle. Because of how long it took, I ended up missing both the opener, including Jeffrey Ross.

On Stubhub maybe, which are tickets already bought and someone stuck holding the bag.

Nope, it was on Ticketmaster and they aren't allowing resale so it wasn't that. Found some tickets in the upper bowl for $75.00.

The last comedy club I went to did that same thing. No phones, no smartwatches, etc. It didn't seem like that big of a deal, but it was only a couple hundred people...so maybe a few more than tonight!

Nothing on ticketmaster anymore, maybe the cheap tickets filled the joint.

More tickets available on Ticketmaster, still well below what they originally were.

Yeah, floor seats on ticketmaster were $99, quite a big drop. Not sure why someone would argue that wasn’t happening.

I've been watching the ticket prices all day, they were down at $99 at one point for every seat in the house, then there was nothing available, now there seems to be select seats being made available for $123.75. Very strange.

Their algorithm no doubt tells them when and how to release tickets and for what price. Prices are crashing now on Stubhub, and I know this cause when 3thirty mentioned Stubhub I figured I would check, and before (~1:15pm) tickets were close to or even above face value, but now they have gone way down. Just keep holding out and maybe get em for $50.00.
