I wouldn’t have guessed any member of the Stone Roses was in their 60s, but I’m almost there too. Time flies.

They were probably one of my first introductions to “alternative” music in the late 80s and 90s. That song is still a regular on my playlist.
Metallica used to do a thing when they were in a particular city, they would do a cover from band from that city.
Robert Trujillo isn't a vocalist, so no judgement. I just thought it was cool that they did it at all.

Have you been to Manchester?
There is a reason most great hockey players come from 'Nowhere Towns.' Its because theres nothing else to do.
Ditto Manchester. You either work the docks, play soccer, participate in crime or make music. That is the extent of Manchester.
'Tis a miserable place.

Winnipeg has a really great list of artists as well. Pretty insane for their population of 400-700k over the decades.

Udo Kier also played Yuri in the PC games Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, and then Yuri's revenge.
