I wonder if you had a car on a strap behind you and started turning left how long it would take to flip the car? Probably pretty quick eh? Good times.
That would be so fun.

For a vehicle that will basically never go properly off-roading so as to use one for its intended purpose, I have definitely considered installing a winch because "it might come in handy".

Last time I talked to him he's doing really well.

if i remember correctly, he got a knock at his door... it was a 'father' and some nuns looking for their car - ha! ha! weren't they visiting a recent widow or something? it was soooo long ago - but i remember being in tears reading it.

Lol! Knowing Fourby....a collar and some penguins aren't going to garner a whole ton of sympathy from him.
He'd tow the Popemobile if it was in his parking spot.

4x4 is/was a great guy. He was either really against or in favour of pre-ripped jeans. I can’t remember which!

IIRC he used some chains and towed the car to in front of his building. Then the owner of the car knocked on his door asking what happened to his car as it was parked in 4x4's spot.

Having to put my foot on the brake pedal in order to start my “turn a physical key” car in the winter is ####ing insanely annoying.

Are you people setting me up? Get an EV where you can use an app on your phone while still lying in bed to start warming up your vehicle. You can even unlock it and start it so someone else can drive it. Ground gears solved

Why would I need an EV for that?

Because if your gas car is in your garage then someone will probably die.

Well even my attached garage is only 5 degrees C right now. If you want a comfortable ride from the moment you get in, and you aren’t some elitist with a heated garage then it’s a nice feature.

As an elitist with a fancy heated garage, I gotta say I never knew it was preventing me from having to buy a Swasticar, but it's always nice to hear another benefit.

Well there are other EVs, and frankly once people drive them, I’m convinced they’ll realize how great they are. Just so many benefits and really no drawbacks for probably 90% of us.

Life hack: on cold days I leave my cabin heater on in my EV while I pop into a store so it’s toasty when I return. And on sweltering days I will leave the a/c on while running an errand.
The last time I touched down at the airport after a winter vacation I connected to wifi while still taxiing and started warming up my car that had been sitting in the long term parking lot. It was glorious to arrive at an already warm vehicle. The only thing better would be arriving to a warm vehicle waiting Curbside to take me home less expensively than paying to store my own car unused.

I have a detached garage but I have wanted to start it to warm it up prior. Would you just instantly die if you opened the door and the garage door after ten minutes of being started in there?
