So if that's an auto suspension for two game misconducts regardless of thenaction, I wonder if DOPS can add to it.

Should be 2 game suspension then. Automatic 1 for two conducts before game 41 and another 1 for this boarding type of hit...

That should be 5 games minimum. There was no nuance about that hit, no fast turns, just a guy skating straight towards the back of a player and driving his face into the boards.

No suspension, just the one game that automaically kicks in if a player get's a game misconduct for a physical infraction twice within a 41-game period. People are saying this is just the automatic part, and that DoPS can still add to it... but it's 5PM EST the follwing day already, and there's been no statement indicating the league is even reviewing the hit.

I always thought the suspensions should be future games against the opponent you fowled against. That way the opponent gets more benefit since they likely suffered some kind of loss at the time plus it gives a cooling off game(s) so that player isn't in the lineup to be revenged against right away. If that makes sense.
