Except this time it might be the thing that makes me buy a console. ####s sake.
I also stupidly bought GTA5 three times but I definitely won’t do that with GTA6. I don’t even own a console anymore. I’ll wait till it’s on PC and that’s the only time I’ll buy it.

I'm thinking I might just wait for PC this time too. I doubt I would get it on release day anyway due to the cost of games now. I can't remember the last game I pre-ordered that wasn't paid for with gift cards and my backlog is so huge I can wait.
I bought GTA5 three times too. 360, PS4(partly paid for with gift cards and I might have played it once and then forgot about it), and PC for $15.
Assuming it's any good (and I feel it will be), the level of FOMO will be unheard of for people planning to sit this one out and wait for PC or a sale. It will be _everywhere_ for so long. Not saying you can't, but I have to imagine it'll be tricky.

I mean I'm not THAT old but when I start comparing game release dates to average life span.. tell me you're in your mid life crisis without telling me you're in your mid life crisis.

My brother started an informal "union" at Weta Studios after they got bought by some investment house, fired everyone then tried to hire them back for much less. They prey on brilliant nerds who will accept poor conditions because the job is 'cool'.
