On the topic of traffic gear grinders, wtf are people’s problems navigating the offramp from Glendmore Trail onto NB Deerfoot. Like, look it goes down to 40kph in the construction zone, not 5 or 10 or 25. Secondly, that is a yield sign, not a stop and let people merge. Let them wait.

You can get dense memory foam but those are never comfortable in my experience (and I've tried a dozen at least at this point) and it seems seems like almost everything else, regardless of whether it's labeled as "firm", is just airy floofy crap. Can't live with it.

I have one that meets all of your qualifications to a T and found at HomeSense. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it's some sort of magic material that is dense, compresses a bit but not too much and doesn't flatten. Goldilocks would say it's just right. I really wish I would have gone back and bought a couple more for the future like I do with shoes.

I got a Sealy “medium support” and I feel like I was looking for what you’re describing.
The biggest issue I have sleeping in hotels or at friends is the pillows. They can make or break my whole night.

I’ve extracted it from the pillow case and now I know what it’s compared to.
The lap of 1962 Martha Stewart.
Brand on the tag is Martha Stewart Everyday but unfortunately I’ve removed the material tags. It was clear on the bag as some type of special gel.

Overall, it's the pure obliviousness that some people have. Truthfully, I'm envious. It must be amazing to go through life without thinking about other people at all. I can only imagine the freedom of just pushing your cart into someone else's path and completely ignoring that other people are walking there.

You go as a family of five for the free samples. It’s like a free lunch in there. You are complaining about the fundamental design of Costco here. It’s for the clueless. It has to be intentional.
For example they have much larger carts, there isn’t a particular reason for the larger carts, the boxes would fit in normal carts. They just want it to be more obnoxious. They could put samples in areas with better traffic flow. They choose not to. They have a bring your friend membership system to increase shoppers
Hearing Costco gear grinders is always a reminder of why I only ever had a membership once. I don’t know why people subject themselves to this.

Don’t want to spoil this for the filthy general public who lack the resources to maintain their membership to this exclusive club, but the reason for the larger carts is the larger items that don’t fit in the regular carts.
Shocking, I know.

What’s almost as bad ad kids pushing the carts are the guy who drag carts from the front. I don’t know why they do this, but it causes the carts to veer wildly.

Is there any truth to the ads that certain designed pillows can help with sleep apnea?

Yes. When applied to the face and mouth with extreme pressure from your bedmate. Sleep apnea disappears in 5-7 minutes on average.

You can fit your 4 gallon jug of ranch in a regular cart.

Also (mostly) because a large cart gives the illusion it’s less full and gets shoppers to buy more
The only thing more insane then the people inside Costco is the people in the gas line . 50% are pulling up to the wrong side / tank away from the pump
Everytime I am at Costco I remark to the wife every job interview should take the candidate to fill a tank at Costco and go inside and buy 10 items . You would immediately know by how someone executes if they will be a fit for the job or not !

Grinds my gears I didn't load up on a lot more Costco stock prior to Covid. Love the company but for the longest time it was considered a so so investment. It was considered better to be an employee and a customer than a shareholder. They did things differently that resulted in a lower rate of growth vs peers. Fast forward to 2025 and it's up 150%
Keep loading up the carts CP

It’s not insane at all. The Costco pumps have extra long hoses for this very reason. I drive a full size pickup and fill up fairly often at Costco and it’s never an issue to be on the “wrong” side. The hose reaches, no problem.

Do you see people rolling shopping carts around BestBuy when shopping for televisions?
