As has been happening a lot this year, Bouchard's man scores the game winning goal.

Not that this just started happening this year.

Trent Frederick has 1 point in 14 games and is a -3. Good thing they gave him that 8 year contract at almost $4 million/year.

Bet McDavid is glad he took that pay cut.

Should get Boo-Boo an E-Z Boy Recliner and Snack Tray so he can have the best seat in the house.

The best part was...on the winning goal he literally flinched and dodged out of the way.

Thats top-notch defending right there. Thats how they teach you to do it.

It's exhibit A why an elite franchise player should never, ever take less money.

Is there anything better than going to bed early and waking up to see your most hated rival has lost after being up 2-0 then letting the other team tie it before scoring the game winning goal in the last two minutes of the game to avoid overtime/loser points?

The guaranteed fact that someone on the Oilers made a hilarious blunder to let that final goal happen is the cherry on top!

If the Oilers were in the East, they'd have the 2nd worst point percentage in the conference.

they've still only played 4 playoff teams from last year (4 of the 5 lowest tiered playoff teams). they did get 2 wins here- Sens in OT, and Habs in the ref game

I'm sure Sidney Crosby wishes he's taken your advice. He could have done a lot more golfing in the springtime.

Everyone. And I mean literally everyone- including Frederic, knew that was going to be a bad contract the second the ink dried.

My goodness. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

If I were Frederic I'd have been blowing on the page to help that ink dry.

Baffling. He deserved at most a three year contract. 8 years after coming off 15 points in 58 games and 4 points in 22 playoff games was insanity. That already know he can't score in the playoffs for the Oilers. It's like that were trying to solidify coming up short in the playoffs.

The contract runs until he's 35.. So likely the last 3-4 years will somehow be even worse.
