The problem is that the darkest timeline is still a possibility here. I could enjoy some of this a lot more if the worst possible option were off the table.

I'd like to see Arteta win. Big fan of Saka and Rice and a few of their players, Arteta has been building a great foundation for a long time now. But wouldn't surprise me if City or Liverpool swoop in with a 90 per cent win rate from here.

It would actually be pretty shocking to see Liverpool or City win 90% of their games from here. Liverpool have been poor from the start of the season and City rely way too much on Haaland. Arsenal are pretty huge favorites right now, if they don't win it this year it'll likely be because they choke it away more than City or Liverpool go on a crazy run.
