Flames now the only team remaining without a ROW. Absolutely pathetic. I love it!

Yes, when you tear down, it takes years to collect the kind of assets that can turn into a contender.

That’s where they are headed.

They started the tear down rebuild 4 years ago when they traded the still young and productive Debrincat. Before that, they were trying to win, but doing a very bad job of it. 4 years later, they are coming out of it.

They were basically a .500 team 5 years ago, hardly forever.

They had an 8th overall pick in 2018 and 3rd overall pick in 2019 so it was a bit before that for sure

Really they are 8 years out of the playoffs (covid play in when they were 12th in the west doesnt count) and it will likely be a few more. They seem like they might be turning it around but 10+ years out if the playoffs is hardly "best case"

I love the way Montreal is building the team. However I believe they are on the smaller side and when intense playoffs kick in they are built wrong. I am not into stats and am way too lazy to look it up but can anyone do a comparison on smaller teams to win a cup. Or am I way out to lunch.

Watching this Canucks game and damn, what the hell happened to Stamkos? I've always liked him but he's been a shadow of the old Stammer since landing in Nashville.

The Kraken are playing hang on with their 1-0 lead. It is now a shutout watch for Daccord. He has made 26 saves so far.

I see Isaac has learned the Oiler way. Dive for powerplays.

So the Jets get shutout tonight by Seattle so they will be determined to fill the net tomorrow against the Flames.

And within seconds of the Habs going ahead, powerplay for the Oilers. You can't make this stuff up. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.
