The most predictable thing in the world was Bouchard signing that big contract and then mailing it in. Pretty easy to see that he gives absolutely zero #### about winning, fits in with the others nicely.

The only time I ever got 1st overall in my league was 6 years ago and I took Crosby because our league was awarding points for face-off wins that year. Crosby mopped the floor with McDavid that year.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

I had first pick this year and the year before. Picked McDavid last year, but managed Hellebuyck with my second pick. This year I took Helle first because of our pool's ridiculously generous goalie points (5 extra points for a SO, so the goalie gets 7 points unless he loses a 0-0 shootout).

I think he cares about winning. He just can't figure out how to get better. He can shoot and pass and that is his gravy. The defensive side of the game has completely eluded him and he has no clue how to develop. That team lets the top players do what they want and think they'll win. They have been lucky and unlucky to have made it so far in the last two seasons. Lucky to do it, but unlucky because they think what they're doing is the right way. Players like Bouchard will never get better because the team won't properly develop them. They have the scoring part down, they don't get defensive play or team work. I don't think they'll put that together.

Per Staples, these are the lines for tonight. fair enough that Hyman is injured, but these are the lines of the supposed Cup favorite? not to mention the 3-5 guys sold the promise of playing with one or both of the big 2 playing instead with...

They have played one bubble playoff team from last year and the rest of their opponents missed the playoffs. 2 wins, one was a goalie steal believe it or not.

So Howard scores his 1st NHL goal and Principe interviews him in the intermission and says (paraphrasing): "you just scored your first NHL goal, how awesome was it for you that McDavid and Draisaitl were involved in it?"
The poor kid gets his 1st and has to fellate McDavid and Draisaitl over it. The insecurity, from top to bottom, is just ridiculous.

not to mention it shouldn't have counted because McDavid hauled a guy down to create the chance in a game the ref was calling everything the other way
