I'll just be sticking with the Support our Troops plate. They'll probably discontinue it soon because it has the Canadian flag in it.
Bonus points that they're 6 digits too

I was always a big fan of the old Alberta logo. We should go back to that.

Completely shocked that busboobs and her minions are mischaracterizing what Wyant said in his report...and by that I mean not shocked at all
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmon...erta-9.6942406
NDP MLA and deputy caucus leader Rakhi Pancholi repeated the Opposition's call for Smith to call a public inquiry.
She pointed to how Wyant introduced his report explaining the limits he faced during his examination due to the terms of reference he had to work within and he wrote that he was not in a position to make "a final and absolute determination."
"The premier is trying to suggest is that her government has been cleared of any wrongdoing. But this is simply not true," Pancholi said. "It is not what the report says at all."
Pancholi said answers are still needed to questions about why AHS staff ignored procurement policies.
"This report does not answer that question because the premier never intended it to, and only a public inquiry will," she added.

No, it's awful. Which gives me an opportunity to revisit what we gave up.
Any time you have an opportunity to have a wordmark autologicaly mimic geography, you take that and run with it. And did they ever, with the mighty A and L representing mountains, quickly rolling to the foothills with the b. Then you have the whimsical "e" representing our capital with maximum derpyness. Like a drunk little e just loving life. But I think my favourite part is the end, rolling off into the prairies, with with the "r" shape echoing a river confluence, the stubbiest t you've ever seen written, and then a big fat ol' "a", just lounging around at the border, made firm by the solid vertical line.
Perfection.

The small "b" and "a" look like dialogue bubbles to me. Reminisce about a time when the Province elected officials would listen to their constituents and engage in meaningful conversation.

Some easily hoodwinked have tried to defend this as "Well, they're just trying to assess demand!" which of course ignores the idiotically short window for which they're allowing people to order them, and also ignores the fact that Smith and the rest of her cronies have both directly and indirectly discouraged people from getting them in the first place.
We had appointments and got our 'rona (Moderna) and flu shots yesterday at Richmond Road. In and out in ~15 minutes (the obligatory 'observation period'), easy peasy. No waiting, lots of capacity. And when I saw the news about having to pre-order for next year, I put ours in.

It's so transparent what they are doing and why. That anyone could support abandoning a century of public health policy that has saved countless lives and protected the vulnerable is utterly baffling to me. That they were elected in the first place is still hard to understand. That anyone supports them to this day is a sign of how poorly educated and misinformed the public is these days. Oh well, at least education is well supported...

The proposed new license plates have beena fantastic distraction.

The proposed new license plates have been a fantastic distraction. Combine that with the teacher strike and boom corruption and brutalizing of the disabled all fly under the radar.
The fact that the very person the UCP appointed said that the corruption was known makes the UCP guilty as heck.

All this "public" stuff is taking money away from them grifting and syphoning tax dollars to their buddies! C'Mon Fuzz, get with the program.
But yeah, it's super transparent and they just don't care how it looks. I love living in Calgary and have done so all my life, but the frequency that I seriously think about moving is increasing as the weeks go by.
