I don't have any stats to back this up, but it seems the bullpen does better coming in with a clean inning as opposed to coming in with runners on base

Yeah. A team that's been great with runners in scoring position all year has not been clutch tonight. Some of that is bad luck (eg Ernie's double play) but hopefully that dam breaks and they can pour on some insurance runs

Yeah he only had 7 outfield assists in his career in 170+ games. Febles knows this too.

No more homers varland. Feels a bit risky bringing in a fireballer against a low average high homer team.
Too bad gausman gave that walk away carbon copy of max last night cruising through the 6th and then having a terrible ab where they cant hit the zone and getting pulled
