I don't know what to say if you watch the way this team plays 100% on the perimeter in the offensive zone, collapses way too far in the defensive zone, and in general is an absolute mess in the neutral zone and think it's purely a skill issue and not at least in part a systems issue.
The system sucks this year. It sucked last year, but a hot goalie and some pretty lucky bounces when needed had the Flames over perform. It had absolutely nothing to do with this scared brand of hockey.

The argument by some is foolproof.
If you say that Wolf was responsible for all the wins, then the coach never gets credit for those wins, but now if Wolf doesn't replicate this year, it's the coaches fault for miss-managing him.
Similarly an argument that the team is good on paper, allows posters to not give him any credit of over achieving last year while assigning him the blame for a bad year this season.
Fool-proof.

Well Huska is a never apex coach, so not sure why he gets a total pass on this board.
