Ya I would have challenged. Who cares if Vegas goes on the PP, you are probably not going to be able to come back against them anyway.

Then again they didn't call the Parayko one back last year and that was an obvious push of the pad. It's the NHL so they are going to eff it up regardless.

I posted that info and yes it was tkachuk as the major piece. Tkachuk wouldn’t commit to Buffalo on an extension though (no surprise)

I know Buffalo really wanted Tuch and there was nobody in the Flames org who was comparable. Also, at the time of the trade, it was not even clear whether Eichel would ever play again.

He wasn't pushing him into the net. He was playing the puck. If the puck had come to a stop on his pad and then the pad would've been pushed in, then I would want the goal called back as well.
