Default October 10 with zero games.
That's right, ZERO games are on the schedule for the Friday OOT shutout.
It is a quirk in the schedule with a day off this early in the season just like three
years ago. Have a great NHL free evening as every team in the league will be in
action tomorrow for Frozen Frenzy, part one. We can post news items here if they
happen and scores from other leagues.

It makes sense if they're going to have all 32 teams play the following night. If any games were scheduled tonight, the road teams would all be playing back-to-backs with travel in between.

Drawing up the NHL schedule is a nightmare, so I don't blame them for taking the easy way out once a year.

Since there are no NHL games, I had a look at the AHL, and it looks like Prosvetov is getting lit up in the AHL.

The Wranglers losing 6-3. Shots are 33-12 for COL, heading into the 2nd intermission. The 1st period shots were 22-4, so not ideal. The goalscorers for Calgary: Frk(great shot on the PP), Hunt x2.

Its kinda funny how fans love all the tweeners but seem to dislike Hunt who is probably the best player on the Wranglers
