The Flames really dug in for Weegs on that terrible penalty.

I was impressed with the how gutsy that kill was.

Wolf is so good. It’s crazy that we have him.

Was at the game, that 3rd goal that Skinner let in was hilarious and a back breaker, got a nice loud STUUUUUUUUUUUU from me and a few chuckles from the Oilers fans around me. They know what they have with Skinner and it's NG

Always great to beat the Oilers! Especially great to wreck their home opener!

Wolf won them the game but it looks like we’re in for another season of feisty, tenacious, white-knuckled, Flames hockey!

Oiler media is questioning that 2nd goal but he hits the heel of his stick which is bar level or even below...they are looking at the tip of the stick that is above the bar slightly. Ref is in a perfect spot to call it. Its actually pretty amazing hands and patience.

Oilers didn't do much outside the PP...actually did they do anything without McDavid out there?

Not just a 7th round pick but 214 out of the possible 217 avaliable. What a pay off . You can only barely get another player as just out of right field hail Mary pick. If he was 5 inches taller he goes early. I * think * he had his first whl goaltender of the year in the dub at draft. No one wanted him because od size but Kipper was only 1 inch taller than him.

I don’t care how the rest of the season goes. Just beat Edmonton. I watched that Kadri goal 10 times in a row.

Klapka looked good. Using his size to protect the puck, some big hits, and even some nice zone entries with a quick move.

Frost also looks like a player with confidence so far.

Klapka could be such a good player...hope the coach doesn't take him out for penalties because they were both the classic Oiler stick grab and dive

Good Wednesday.
Vegas chokes a 2 goal lead in the 3rd and lose in the shootout. 1st steps towards a lottery pick for us with their pick!

Their story was supposed to be about the great generous McDavid who signed a lower contract so they could double Walmans contract and lead to an 82-0 season

Agreed. Thought Frost looked good- could have ended it in overtime there was so close

What a delight to wake up to in Tuscany!! (The one where there’s wine…not the Calgary one…)

Wooooooooo! So thrilled for the boys!

Wolf’s edges and ability to move laterally on those shootout moves was a treat to watch.. Holy smokes!

Watching him is going to be like all those years watching Kipper. We are lucky to have a goalie with insane skill
