Say what you want about Boone but he’s won multiple playoff series at the MLB level. Schneider hasn’t and has that helpless look on his face that makes you think now he’s not quite sure what he’s doing.

Taking Jimi Garcia out of playoff game three years ago and then Berrios out two years ago are terrible decisions at the time and look worse after the game.

With a bunch of decisions potentially required tomorrow in a bull pen game, his bad call in uselessly putting Barger in the third inning and moving Clement off of third has those bad decisions continuing and it could get ugly tomorrow if the bats don’t come around tonight.

Barger has more errors at third then Clement this year. He’s wildly struck out both times. Again. Third inning he’s pinch hitting when Jays ahead by 5.

If Bassitt can go then yes you do whatever you need to, to get him on the roster.
