Not the worst vs Judge. He puts the ball almost anywhere in play and a run scores anyways.

I just scared the crap out of my 10 month old after the Varland strike out. Worth it.

Nah that was a full 2 feet above him jumping. No outfielders get that unless they climb the wall.
Gausman put all that he had left for Judge.
He knew he didn’t have the velocity anymore and kept each pitch low then vs a good contact hitter in Bellinger to not give him anything.
He needed to be pulled after that for sure.

Folks. We need the bats to get back on track. A 1 run lead with 3 innings to go is not going to do it.

Haven’t reached base in 4 innings. 1 swing can tie it.

Personally I think this isn’t a great call by Schneider. He wasn’t bad.

There is and always has been a disproportionate number of Brett Lawrie jerseys.
I know there wasn’t much to cheer for in that era but he was a hot headed but apparently a bit of a heart throb; but not much of a player.
If Schenider is playing this pull game if Varland for Judge it probably means that Dominguez has already given up the lead, so do you want him in there anyway?
Dominguez does his job that inning. Excellent.

Get an insurance run and then shut 'em down over the next two innings. Easy peasy. I should be a manager.
