They are still short. Many people thought they would be well past 300K by now.

I think this is a prudent reminder that we need more signatures, especially if the goal is 400K so that we have more than enough to get through the inspections and invalidations that are sure to happen.

I don't know. I'm worried as that's lower than I'd hoped. You probably need at least 100K to 120K more to make up for any invalid signees.
That's a lot to get in a month, especially as the most motivated people have probably already signed.

The way I see it, they have got all the easy ones. It will be hard work to get the next 70,000 in a month.

I don't think that is everything they've collected already. Based on the conversation from a few pages ago at least I don't think that's called all the petitioners yet?

Ehh, I think it has the opposite effect.

A lot of doomer people had thrown in the towel previously. If you see that it's at 230k, might be able to convince folks that their signature actually matters.

I thought the number would be over 300,000. Maybe it is. I turned in 450 last week and have over 500 now. Those plus what I’ll do in the next three weeks should get me to 650+. I’m out door knocking now. It’s been effective. I got four at one house Wednesday and three at another yesterday. You never know who’s on the other side of that door. Unfortunately it’s more often a separatist than I’d like but I say thank you and move on.

Makes me wonder how many signatures the traitors have. Less than 5,000?

On Saturday, Oct 11, my wife will be hosting a Mid Century Modern market at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association - 1320 5 Ave NW. It'll be from 10 to 4, and we'd love to have a signature taker on site for as long as possible.

We typically get close to a thousand people come through.

(I did send an email to Forever Canadian, but the more signature takers the better, IMO). PM me if anyone wants more details, or... just show up, ask for Tracie.

Forever Canadian signature collectors will know who to blame if they end up around 1000 short at the deadline.

Alright! Now that we have that sorted out...lets put a stop to this separation nonsense.

Pardon me if this was addressed earlier in the thread, but we're just back in Calgary after the last 20 years in California. We'd love to sign but don't wish to nullify signatures if we're not eligible.

So.....what qualifies as a valid signature?
