Haha don't want to out my company on here after some a-hole one starred me on Google and said 'the owner doesn't like dogs' years ago. Whoever you are, I still hate you.
The item had to do with a utility situation on a hunk of land. I can make gigantic things and really small things. For this one gigantic made perfect sense, but small was also a thing.
Holy cow, what sort of object was it? I'm dying to see the look on someone's face when they come in to pick up "x" and it's TEN TIMES the expected size.
Like dining table?

Do you still even care if people know you hate dogs? And if a potential customer cared enough about it to be bothered and not use your services, how much business are you even losing?
I don't believe either of those has a mail client though? For our house that's one of the bigger draws for Microsoft, I have not come across a decent alternative to Outlook. I'd love to know if there was one, and not web browser based. Maybe I'm just old school.
Evolution is a good exchange-based mail client, if you ever want to give linux a try swap blue screens of death with kernel panics.

Umm, he said he one star Google reviewed him. You know the consequences of poor reviews on small businesses, right?

Most intelligent people can discern between a legit review and someone with an axe to grind. There are tons of places where nobody even gives a crap about the reviews let alone one where somebody is whining about something pet preferences.

Sure, but it draws your average down.
Also, at the time I only had like seven reviews so it did impact me. Now I can absorb one malicious review a lot better than then.
The actual funny part was at the time I was a minority shareholder in the company (have 100% now). The majority shareholder loved dogs and even showed them. He was so fkn hurt by that review because he thought it was about him. I was just like, 'man, you must have pissed someone off!'
I'm not too fussed about user reviews, hey...I like getting raving reviews as much as the next guy, it makes me look good, it makes me feel good and I work in the Tax Business so 'positive re-enforcement' is very few and far between, so I'll take it when I can get it.
I also generally dont reply to reviews because, as was said, most people know that a 1-star is worthless. Its just someone with a grudge.
I replied to one review from this one person because she'd been waiting for me at my office and I was late.
She didn't have an appointment, didn't contact me in advance and my receptionist had just shattered his ankle and it was acting up so I had to pick him up to come to work.
Lady: "Well...you weren't on time!"
Who are you lady? If I'd known you were coming and you'd had an appointment I'd have called you and let you know. But I've got to take care of my staff.
Oh. Also. This business isnt a McDonald's Drive-Through. Don't just show up and expect service.
I could have been perfectly on time and had a dozen other appointments and you're still going to be sitting in my waiting room.

Thats where I can understand Sliver's frustration, you can leave a review on someone's business and then just shuffle off like a dog rubbing it's ass on a carpet, no consequences.
But its still there.
The crazy part to me was...no appointment at all, but she stayed anyways, then watched me help my crippled employee, took photos of my office and then screamed at me in Ukrainian and left.
But I dont worry about it. At the end of the day my work speaks for itself and that was probably a client I did not want anyways.
