Fielder's choice...got the lead runner. Yeah....I've got multiple screens going.

That was a triple all day for Gimenez, not sure why Fables held him. Him standing at third would’ve had him come in to score with the Heineman fly out.
That goodness for Varsho. On pace for 43 if he played all season.

I am fully rooting for the Yankees to turn into a Pumpkin again, but it would be some kind of sweet if they win out and we still hold on to the division.

I actually didn't see that closely due to...Jays big inning...but I'll tell you that the WS center fielder just made an INSANE diving catch with a runner on 2nd, 1 out.

Going 2nd to 3rd and a chop grounder right at him. He held ground and jumped out of the way last second like he was trying to distract the SS behind him. Who threw to 3rd and got him by 20 feet.
Basically they’re demonstrating why they’re last place in the AL. But even then they’ve won 1/3 games. But of course they’ll get swept by Yankees this week.

They were one strike away from winning the first game. As bad as the Jays have been the Yanks have had some voodoo magic going the last couple of weeks. The Stanton "double" another prime example. A big league 3rd baseman makes that play easily.
WS have also had a lot of hard contact today finding gloves.

I haven't played 3B for 20 years, but I could have at least knocked that down. (might have a bruise tomorrow)

Hazel just saying that Schneider isn’t sure if he wants to play wild card or get the bye is bananas. He said the numbers say both ways may be good.
Sounds like he is trusting the same numbers that told him to replace Berrios with Kikuchi 2 years ago.
If you could guarantee you win the 2 wild card games 8-0 and keep everyone active, and they don’t celebrate too hard after, then maybe they’ll be better set up for R2.
But Schneider can’t have that much of a selective memory and the disaster of Seattle, and laying down for the Twins, should have him steer as far away from a 3 game series as possible. Especially because it means they’ve choked away the bye.

There is no way he actually believes it. He’s spinning so hard in that scrum that he’s corkscrewing himself into the ground.

You can see them having fun out there again....just need Vladdy to smash a deep drive and maybe they'll be cured.
