And you were right.
Can't argue with that.
But the "many posters" weren't being pessimistic. The Flames are a team that needs many things to go better than expected in order to be in the hunt. Last year that happened with Wolf and work ethic being the driving points.
But they are still a team deep with middle six forwards but not enough offensive talent, and just three top four defensemen, and a sophomore goalie with an inexperienced backup.
You don't have to be a hater to see things maybe not going as well.
