I didn't catch the first part, but Basha was definitely around later in the game. Looking at the line chart, I don't recall anyone gone for a large span other than Suniev. Even he came back after walking down the tunnel.

I don't recall seeing Silye out there much

Can’t seem to find it - is there a box score / stats from last night?

Caught bits and pieces of the game. Thought BRZ was not good at the start, and improved, but one thing he CAN do is move the puck quickly and reasonably accurately.

Liked the push from the forwards...they seem pretty aggressive in all ways.

Left for a bit when it was 6-2 and returned to a mess, just before the 6-5 goal. Oof. That is disappointing.

On the radio broadcast they were joking that for hockey games with 8 year olds they have the resources to count shots, but for some reason last night they didn't. Edmonton is no good. I don't know if anything is out there other then game stories.

He wasn't noticeable at all. I'm pretty sure he was on the ice for a few goals against, though.

Missed most of the 1st period. But was impressed by Suniev, Honzek, Gridin & Phillips.

Seeing a handful of posts that Brz looked shaky to start, when I tuned in it looked like he had got it together. Thought he looked good on the PP.

Good catch. Probably him.

He was supposed to center Battaglia and Gridin.

So he should fit in playing with either McDavid or Draisatl. No need to play defence.

That PS call was still one of the worst calls I've seen. Basha caught Savoie and took the puck off him before the hash marks.

Trying to get a sense for ranked prospects playing for both teams. of course in games like this advantages are always to older (even mediocre) prospects over the just drafted

I can't find a consensus Oilers prospect list I trust, so using Staples (ugh) but doesn't really matter given their 'depth'

so playing for the Oilers yesterday were the numbers 1*, 2*, 5, 6, 7, 7 (he has a tie at 7?) prospects (*= Calder trophy winner)

not playing were #3 ( an almost 24 year old Russian F), #4 ( a 25 year old defenceman) #9 (an actual conventional prospect, age 19) and #10 ( a 26 year old defenceman)

in short those were all of their meaningful prospects in action

for the Flames (per CP) prospects 1,2,5 and 8 didn't play (all are drafted within the last 2 years and thus conventional prospects)

Expecting to see how Sergeev does with his start.

As for the regular pre-season, we'll see lots of Cooley and Prosvetov before Wolf gets the last pair of games.

I made a mistake in my summary of the game's action on the previous page- Gridin and Brisson each had a goal and TWO assists, rather than just a goal and an assist as I stated (I have changed it).

Great night for Gridin, but good on Brisson as well.

It’s not just the resources. You also need someone that can count ………. in Edmonton

Wondering who will be in the lineup Sunday. Would like to see Honzek, Suniev and Gridin again.

Sounds like Parekh is a definite no. Also sounded like Reschny and Potter are away at school. To bad. I would really like to see those 3.

Is Brisson Brendon Brisson? Played a bit with Vegas? Looks like no.

No this is Nathan, played with Val D'Or of the Q this season. No relation.
