He has blood on his hands, but yeah, he’s just giving opinions.

What does make you praiseworthy is what kind of a person you are and how you live your life.

Charlie made his living by making lots of people angry, on both sides of the aisle. Conservatives were angry because of the way he painted the rhetoric as being damaging. Liberals were angry because of the terrible ideas he would espouse.

He did nothing to bring people together in order to help the human race progress. Those that sow in division and anger are not heroic, and deserve as much disdain as possible, for they obfuscate the true goal of humanity to live in peace and relative harmony. We all want that, nobody would say otherwise. Yet all he did was create the opposite of that reality for everyone.

Having children has nothing to do with your qualities as a human being. There's enough deadbeat dads out there to confirm that fact.
Is this wall of text supposed to convince me that it’s not sad that those kids father is dead?

It’s actually possible to disagree with what Kirk says, but also think political violence is bad, and that violence in response to speech is bad, and that murders are bad, and that two kids having their father murdered is bad.

And yet be remarkably silent for every other serious shooting incident in the United States but take particular umbrage with this one for reasons?

I'm not arguing that. I'm rebutting your claim that being a father automatically makes you someone worthy of sympathy and praise. It's simply not true.

If my "wall of text" lacked appropriate subtext, then let me make it clear. I don't adhere to anything that causes anger, violence, hatred, or discord in humanity. Political violence would easily check all of those boxes. Are you satisfied now that I'm a decent enough human being?

If you could point me back to threads where people were this callous about the murder of innocent people I’d be happy to call that ridiculous too.

Lol. Forgive me if I don't really feel sad for a guy who basically said colateral damage is an OK and inevitable tradeoff to continue making sure psychos can get their hands on guns easily. Guy treated all the gun deaths and mass shootings as a statistic and now is just another stat as well. No crocodile tears from me.

I don’t know man, I just said that it’s bad that people are celebrating the death of an innocent man, which left two kids without a father, over political views and speech they don’t like. You’re the one who took exception to that.

Ok, bye. *shrug*

I'm not sure I'd qualify it as gleeful, what's here, but for me, I just don't care, I'm indifferent. He wasnt really "somebody", in the very grand scheme of all things right wing, so I find it all a little odd, that he was shot, but here we are. He espoused violence, racism, had no issues with mass shootings of little children, and on and on and on. He was not a good human being, except to maybe his children & if they loved him, then I'm sad for them - it's a lot of trauma.

I will however, be very effing gleeful when Kumquat Klanold dies, in whatever fashion that happens to be. That gleefulness will be worldwide & will make whatever "glee" you're seeing, look like absolutely nothing. I'm not even going to feel sorry for that glee, when the time comes. I hope my glee pisses a lot of people off.

We weren’t and he isn’t innocent. People have died because of the ideology he espoused.

Charlie Kirk used his last words to trivialize gun violence as being isolated within gangs and the transgender community. I don't think either group had much to do with what happened next, especially compared with his beloved 2A.

Awful to see things escalate into violence. Also true that he consistently espoused flat-out horrible beliefs that demonized large groups of people.

Compassion is reserved for people who deserve it, like his kids. A garbage human doesn't deserve any compassion from me.

Didn't notice you in the Robert Pickton dying thread when everyone was ####ting on him. Guess you're selective about it.

I don't understand how anyone can be upset this guy got what he preached, this is ok so they can continue to have the 2nd amendment. Are those arguing against what happened yet supporting his views ok with those deaths unless it's Charlie Kirk himself? Wouldn't Charlie himself be ok with today's events based on what he preached?

They already have thoughts and prayers, what's the problem?

This guy literally thought that children dying in school shootings was acceptable collateral damage and a price to pay to have 2nd amendment rights. He would have been fine with you and your kids dying for that right. Watch the close up video of this POS getting shot and picture the same happening to kids at Sandy Hook, and realize that in his view, that was acceptable. Maybe unfortunate, but acceptable all the same.

He wasn’t a good person, he was hateful, mean, bigoted, the response to his death is just reaping what he sowed. Don’t want people celebrating your death, then be a decent.

Also, two people detained for the murder today and both released, so the killer is still out there.

What do all these bozos like to say when there is a school shooting? "False flag" | "Inside Job"
The rhetoric is coming from the White House, not this forum.
