I haven't had time to watch the posted video, but there was a small parallel discussion in the Alberta thread.

As the human race, we have to stop supporting narcissists. They lie, flatter and love bomb to get into positions of power, and then destroy everybody that they can can their hands on, feeding off of the suffering.

They do not have empathy.

And although their numbers are small, I see them everywhere, especially in politics. Our current premier is one, my current mayor is one, my company just fired our CEO after he did some irreparable damage. Three years ago a family member rented a condo from one. One neighbor.... ect. Very seldom are they poor or unsuccessful, because confidence and lies are such a lethal combo.

The lack of empathy makes it all happen, and the attempt to normalize the hidden part of narcissism is terrifying.

Not sure where to put this but Putin and Xi were caught on a hot mic discussing organ transplantation and longevity. They both have a hall pass for lifetime rule of their nations and I guess they're gonna harvest or clone body parts to remain autocrats as long as they can. Yeah, as troutman noted, MAGA is actually very supportive and calling for the release of the names. On your point about threats though, they'll come from people like the Clintons and Trump and other "clients", so I'm hoping the victims have security thought out and planned for.
