Again, the Jays would probably sweep the Yankees in the post-season. They suck against teams that don't suck.

This last stretch really showing how mediocre the Jays offseason was, failing to improve the bullpen and acquire a big bat.
Really need another streak to hold onto the east lead. The Yankees have a tough stretch ahead followed by a butter soft end to their schedule, while the Sox entire remaining schedule is pretty weak.

Reading last few pages here, after not being by for a while, one might think the Jays were 13 games back. Or similar

Well.....at least we might not be wasting a great start from one of our starters today. :\

The Jays pitchers and giving up homers…yikes.
The bats need to step up. The bullpen woes have let the ####ty bats off the hook and it is time to get right.

Yes, but also can't get the Brewers out of town fast enough. If we make it to the WS, would be very nice if someone could take care of them before that....

Just like Schneider and Guerrero would have drawn it up.

About time we got a break....maybe things are shifting again. After all the talk of how great the Brewers D is, this was bound to happen.

Lukes in the five spot is a choice. A good one.

Anything else you'd like to skewer Schneider for? ---never mind, misread it in my excitement. What is this first inning scoring thing I'm seeing?

Nicely done Lukes after a terrible at bat from Bichette and a fluke sequence to get the RISO.

Hahaha. I’ve been pretty happy with Schneider all in all this year.
His hair trigger pull of Bieber was a mistake considering the 6 man rotation.
The recent struggles of the team have almost been entirely on underperforming hitters and bullpen arms. The greatest manager in the world can’t overcome bats that aren’t hitting and big time bullpen arms crumbling. Can’t coach around that.

I very vocally didn't like Hoffman in for the 9th yesterday. (as my wife had to endure in the passenger seat) The way he's been giving up taters, putting him into that spot against power/average guys like that seemed as risky as it ended up. Overall I do like him as a manager though.

Way to make him pay for walking the #9 hitter...they've been letting 'em off the hook in these situations all series.

Barger with another tough AB. Having him and Vlad as black holes right now sure shortens the lineup.

4 HR in the last 4 innings now.....not exactly a recipe for success.
