That play by Bo going to second was brilliant. I was worried a bit at the very moment but if it didn’t work, it really didn’t matter that much and would have put a double play in play. Definitely a risk worth taking.

That looked like a game were Berrios was going to go 8 and the Jays would cruise to a win. Then Berrios started to Berrios and Varland does what Varland does. And next thing you know it's a frustrating 12 inning nailbiter using 7 pitchers. All the double plays hit into sure didn't help. But alas a win is a win and the Jays have a chance for the sweep tomorrow.

I get that Berrios is your schtick, but he went 6 1/3 with two earned runs. If the team loses that game it's someone elses fault.

Interesting no Vladdy again today. Thought maybe he'd get in after he was about to pinch hit yesterday. However I'm ok with it, give him more time off as long as they are winning

I’m sure getting the first two wins of the series helps a lot. While a sweep is nice you just need to win your series and nobody will catch them. Twins are next for 3 days and then an off day Thursday. Whatever they do, take your time with him.

And then he absolutely unraveled and put on three straight base runners while throwing junk pitches.

My issue with Berrios isn't that you don't get innings out of him. My issue is that every time he steps on the mound you are flipping a coin. Sometimes it's in the 1st. Sometimes it's in the 7th. But every inning he steps on that mound there is a risk he is about to put three or four guys on base and get 1-4 runs put on the board.

We've been watching this same song and dance for so long now, it's been the same since that opening day start

I get adding Hoffman cause he gave up a run, but taking away the architect of that collapse and the guy who got them into that mess in the first place? No chance. If Berrios is pulled to start the inning that game doesn't go to extras even with Varland.
