My issue with Berrios isn't that you don't get innings out of him. My issue is that every time he steps on the mound you are flipping a coin. Sometimes it's in the 1st. Sometimes it's in the 7th. But every inning he steps on that mound there is a risk he is about to put three or four guys on base and get 1-4 runs put on the board.
We've been watching this same song and dance for so long now, it's been the same since that opening day start
I get adding Hoffman cause he gave up a run, but taking away the architect of that collapse and the guy who got them into that mess in the first place? No chance. If Berrios is pulled to start the inning that game doesn't go to extras even with Varland.
