Sigh. About a third of the league now has male cheerleaders and again who cares. I guess no more rampant hog cranking at games? Not sure what the issue is. My in person experience is going to be ruined.
This is the first time in my life I've thought about cheerleaders at NFL games and likely the last. What a fascinating time to be alive and see the things that get certain types upset.

I dunno. By asking why "men dancing in feminine ways" are at the job and asking who that is for makes it clear you believe cheerleaders exist solely to be objectified by straight men and nothing else. It's leads one to believe you'd perhaps allow for men who dance in masculine ways to have the job as "who they're for" would ostensibly be straight women. To answer your poorly posed question: I suppose it's for the people who are hiring and building cheerleader squads for their teams. This of course assumes cheerleaders have some value to society outside of being sexual objects who exist to distract from the game. Perhaps this is where opinions on who they're for differ.
Fun fact: almost every single college in America has male cheerleaders. They're almost half of all cheerleaders that exist. I wonder who they're for

Just cleaning up your obnoxious response and Ill respond to the regular parts.
So my question was, who were these hires for, and after you angrily tapped your keyboard about how awful I am and how terrible my questions was, you answer is: its for the team and the people who are doing the hiring? So cheerleaders exist for the pleasure and entertainment of HR for these teams?

Ya they're very talented. Most male cheerleaders, who are often referred to as yell leaders like in Edmonton, really enhance the entertainment by bring their size and strength to the group, tossing the ladies up in the air and catching them. It's incredibly athletic on both their parts and is very impressive. In answer to your question, and without being a petty dick, I'll say, they are for anyone who wanted to be entertained at the game.
Nice you answered your own question from earlier. Perfect. This was a fun exercise in getting back to where we began.
Anyways Anthony richardson's agent is now publicly musing on his future with the team. I'd think he's much more likely to get cut for being a distraction than traded, I doubt many teams would give up anything more than a late round pick for him

No, I answered the question why the yell leaders exist in Edmonton or Texas A&M. Not why the Vikings have a man dancing like a lady and which audience that will appeal to.

I don't have a "problem" with male cheerleaders. The Vikings are the only team in the NFL I give a crap about in any real way, and if in the post season they're playing I'll watch their games and hope they win. I'm not upset over this, or demanding people write their state rep in Minnesota. I find the decision genuinely baffling and a total misreading of their customer.

Ahh yeah I see, I don't watch shows on Boomermount + cause my hip still works and my knee hasn't been replaced. But hey if you enjoy it cool, and if you don't (or don't even know what it is) you ignore it like I do. Kinda like male cheerleaders.

Paramount is too edgy and new for me. I only scroll facebook endlessly and someone sent me a link to this on youtube. Normally I only watch Bill O'Reilly and FoxNews but sometimes I need a break from screaming at my television and enjoy some legitimate theatre on the small screen.

I honestly don’t believe you are a homophobe but I think you are off base with the bolded comments.
There is no such thing as “dancing like a lady”. Dancing is dancing.
I’m a gay man who loves football (even if the Cowboys hate me and destroy my spirit every year) I don’t watch for cheerleaders or because it’s a bunch of athletic dudes. There are a lot of LGBTQ fans who watch football.
The average NFL “customer” is an extremely diverse one.

C'mon bro. Yes there is. A lot of dancing is gender neutral. A lot of dancing is not.
As for not understanding the customer, I think I'm correct. Cheerleaders as they are now, traditional cheerleaders slim, young women doing a mix of impressive athletic dancing with sexually suggestive dancing/clothes appeals to a lot of men, and men make up a large % of the NFL fan base. And I'm sure you'll find gay men and straight women are impressed with the dance routines and the choreography and athleticism. Some of the Cowboys cheerleaders routines could be in the Olympics they're so taxing.
But men who dancing in feminine ways (sorry thats just how I see it) aren't going to appeal to their current fans. If you took 100 Viking fans, 50 probably don't really care at all. 30 are probably outraged. and maybe 20 are like, hey cool. I just dont see why you'd do something with so little upside when you're trying to cater a specific demographic. It's genuinely baffling.
