So did the Elks even draw 10,000 to the game yesterday? The weather up here was absolute ass to the point where I might have even thought about staying home for a Chiefs vs Bills game let alone the Elks.

What is this stupid bull####? Gray against green? This should be a home jersey alternate for Hamilton.

Riders looked great. Except Lauther. Just release him already. It can’t be that hard to find a decent kicker. He’s gonna cost us a game.

I love those Ticats alternate jerseys. The grey and yellow and the H. Reminds me a bit of some of the Tennessee Vols jerseys over the years. But I agree grey vs green is silly.

The Als can't keep their QBs healthy. Their 4th stringer is now in thr game tonight vs BC.

Montreal defence is about as useful as the Argos D yesterday. God the east is terrible.

I know it’s a football thing vs hockey, but I still can’t stand coordinated team celebrations when you are absolutely destroying the other team. No class.

Not totally unexpected, but all four West teams winning their games while the Stamps are on a bye is certainly not good. It also puts a ton of importance on Saturday's game versus the Riders which I hope will include a large crowd at McMahon.

It's sounding more and more like Chad Kelly won't play for the Argos this season. The Als are down to their 4th string QB. Dru Brown was injured again this weekend. It's been a rough year for QB's staying healthy and as we all saw earlier this season, priority #1 is keeping VA healthy.

If Ticketmaster is any indication it looks like a decent number of tickets are sold.

Hard to believe that 2/3 Stamps losses have been to Ottawa of all teams. Those losses could be the difference between home field in the playoffs and starting on the road. It's like Dyce has a Dickenson voodoo doll or something.

I heard Jim Barker say that about a month ago on the Rod Pedersen show (don't ask, I didn't realize he had a TV show that is on a weird Game channel that shows things like competitive mini golf. I turned it on just to see if it was real). He had a super strong belief in it based on some of Kelly's actions in regards to practice or something. Rod cut him off mid sentence to end the interview, very professional. He literally just ended Jim's video feed and said something like "sorry about that, we had to go." Anyway, after hearing that I kind of figured he was likely done for the year. That was a pretty gross injury.

My partner and I are probably getting season tickets next season to the stamps. We had a blast the last few games we've gone.
Any good section recommendations we should look out for? Ideally she would want it on the home side out of the sun.

Stay classy Winnipeg. Kudos to the bombers and the cfl on what sounds like a thorough investigation.
Quote:
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers faced media scrutiny at practice on Monday when Demerio Houston hit the field for the first time since recently signing with the team.
The 28-year-old was charged with domestic violence in November after his wife alleged that he struck her in the face with a suitcase. Houston was also accused of having a history of domestic violence, though his wife told the issuing magistrate that she had not previously contacted authorities as Houston was the main source of income for her and their young children.

“The CFL does a damn good job of doing their investigations,” said O’Shea.
|
Quote:
When pressed, O’Shea admitted he doesn’t know “a bunch” about how the league carries out such investigations.
|
Quote:
O’Shea also indicated the team didn’t conduct an investigation of its own outside of having a few conversations, saying he wasn’t sure they’d find anything more than the league did.

In an earlier article posted on 3DownNation, the Stamps and DD were instructed to release Houston.
Houston was released by the Stampeders in February after 3DownNation reported that he had been charged with misdemeanour domestic violence in North Carolina following an argument with his wife in November. The 28-year-old publicly denied the allegations, and the charges were later dismissed in court with the intention of being expunged from his record.
Following Houston’s release, Stampeders’ head coach Dave Dickenson indicated that the team had been instructed to make that decision by the league, and that the cornerback’s future employment opportunities would be determined by the CFL’s gender-based violence policy. It is unclear if the league has placed any conditions on the registration on his new contract.

$30 tickets in Section M for Saturday's game. ($36.75 with fees). Apparently today only.
