It had been Gate Gourmet in Toronto for a while but not Calgary until last fall. It probably was previously, I'm sure the contract just goes back and forth

You wouldn't need seats because every passenger would be standing in line for the bathrooms the whole flight.

Hortons with Tacotime. That is a cleanse. I’d probably die.

Cruising in Europe four weeks in May and looking to follow it up with several days in Germany on land. We’re considering time in Berlin and Munich. Suggestions are welcomed.

I'd throw Stuttgart in the mix if you like cars. The Mercedes and Porsche museums were really neat. The Museum of Natural History also wasn't so bad.

Both of these two were awesome...especially the Mercedes one. If you're at all a car guy, I would go out of my way to visit these places. I don't remember a ton else about Stuttgart though.

I love both Munich and Berlin. Both are certainly worth the visit.
Depending on how you're travelling, you could easily hit Prague for a couple of days en route between the two. It's a beautiful city and so much cheaper than Germany (or at least it was the last time I was there in 2011).

Munich is a good base to Neuschwanstein, Salzburg, and Berchtesgaden. All must sees.
if you are more in the center, look at Nuremburg, Wurzburg, and Rothenberg.
Towards the Rhine (Frankfurt), you have Baden Baden, Strasbourg (Alsace region), Heidelberg.
Between all of that you have Black forest region.
All great areas to see, for each of their own reasons.

Ya, if you get into the mountains it means it's a lot of downhill for your return to Munich on the Autobahn. This can come in handy if the rental company gives you a vehicle not capable of achieving 200kph on flat ground. Like an Opel SUV.
We had come from Berlin to Prague, then Salzburg. From there we did a salt mine tour which was fun. Then the Eagles Nest(Hitler's Mar-a-Lago), Innsbruk, and Garmisch-Partinkerchen(Winter Olympics), gondola at Zugspitze, and Neuschwanstein Castle.
Great drive, lots of scenery.

Fuzz you call out anyone who has even looked at a Tesla from across a parking lot as being a Nazi, but you have zero qualms about spending your tourist Deutchmarks visiting actual Nazi tourist sites (ie Hitler’s Mar-a-Lago above)? Did you have any pangs of regret booking that holiday or did it never occur to you that you were somehow supporting a culture that had an history of being evil? Or is it not like that and someone can travel in modern Germany or own a Tesla without supporting an ideology?

Fuzz can be prickly but this post is beyond ######ed. My best friend is German and he is quite possibly the best human ive ever met. If you are Canada, I want to be German because they would win because we are full of you.

Uh-oh, I've been to Sachsenhausen and Auschwitz, but I balanced it out with the Jerusalem Holocaust museum so I think I'm ok... Brupal, I'm going to need a ruling here.

What's the verdict on sites like Trivago, Super dot com and the like?
When I search hotels on Google, these places come in way cheaper but there must be a catch, right?

Probably don’t include all of the taxes or take number of guests into account. I have had some better luck directly with hotels and they show some of their deals like some Vancouver hotels have special deals for west coast residents and stuff that don’t appear on a cursory Google Maps search.
