Just perfect.
Sarcasm, right?

The answer to wind (especially cold wind) is always a resounding no thanks.

That wind wasn't cold. It was cool. There's a very distinct difference.

#### cold wind, agreed on that.

But I'll definitely #### with cool wind after a warm afternoon in the sun.

If anyone has watched Clarkson's Farm, there is such a thing as too much rain even for farmers.

I don't know if we're there yet, but I'm with you.

It depends on which crop. Canola farmers are thrilled, and the crops are great, but some of the others are less so.

Some of the complaints about how the weekend was kinda ruined because of the forecast.

"Weather report said rain all weekend so we didn't plan to do stuff outside!"

Ehh... I guess. Planned indoor stuff for Saturday, but then went outside as much as possible afterwards. I had scooters, jackets and umbrellas in the trunk of the vehicle and we took opportunities to get a few hours of outdoor fun yesterday before being finally being pelted by water by late evening. I'm approaching it like hiking in the mountains. Plan and prep for a variety of scenarios and take advantage of what you get.

I guess I'd rather rain than forest fire smog to keep me indoors... but IMO the thing that drive me craziest this summer is the construction.

I don't recall being as frustrated at construction season than this year. Highways, feeders, repaving, huge variations in uneven pavement, detours, major potholes/pooling of water etc. in many areas I drive regularly. It just seems like more areas are worked on significantly at the same time in so many quadrants of the city.

My suspension is starting to make spring noises not too dissimilar to the sounds I hear after driving 100 kmph for hours on gravel roads. Gotta get that looked at soon. My car's windshield is a disaster, but I held off replacing it because it seemed like bigger chipping rocks are frequently still being kicked up when driving on Deerfoot.

The farmers I know say we’ve had more than enough. I love rain and this summer has been great. I won’t mind if it stays sunny and dry for August.

What we really need is the snow. It is still effectively a drought until we get a decent snowpack into spring.

I know it's already August, but still a little early to be calling for snow.

Yea even if we get good weather from here on out it's completely ruined by bugs. Anytime I've tried to spend outdoors when it's actually sunny these last few weeks has been a constant battle with mosquitos, and bug spray doesn't seem to deter them in the slightest
