if it's Solberg, I think the conversation starts with Hunter Brzustewicz. I haven't gotten any info on Hunter's availability but I don't see Anaheim interested in Rasmus long term.

There isn’t really much on the Ducks that makes a ton of sense other than McTavish or Solberg as mentioned by Sec. But even Solberg doesn’t make a lot of sense for the Ducks to move, I like Hunter but he isn’t much ahead of Solberg in development and I think Solberg likely has the higher ceiling. It’s all interesting nonetheless.

There was talk of the young ducks d being put off by reduced ice time when trouba came in. So maybe that’s the target. Given we’ve been looking for the left shot d, that could be the target.
Lacombe, Mintyukov and Zellwegger all fit the bill (pun intended).

Solberg is 19 and a good size and LHD but why is he a BRZ 1 for 1 candidate? Seem like we lose value here.
McTavish would be the prize the Flames are seeking in my eyes.
