That ad doesn’t give me a eugenics vibe. I guess I’m an idiot.
Anyway, the Dunkin Donuts “Golden summer” ad definitely does. I can’t find a way to share it so maybe someone else can.
The white guy talks about his skin color. It’s just weird.

Didn't she play a 14-year-old on Handmaid's Tale when she was 20? Her character was supposed to be an innocent, virginal girl forced to marry an older man, which goes against type for her. I didn't buy it but I bet you it was popular in the pro-Gilead crowd.

I’m sure Tesla will appeal the ruling down. Schreiber acknowledged that the driver, George McGee, was negligent when he blew through flashing lights, a stop sign and a T-intersection at 62 miles an hour before slamming into a Chevrolet Tahoe that the couple had parked to get a look at the stars.
The lead defense lawyer in the Miami case, Joel Smith, countered that Tesla warns drivers that they must keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel yet McGee chose not to do that while he looked for a dropped cellphone, adding to the danger by speeding. Noting that McGee had gone through the same intersection 30 or 40 times previously and hadn’t crashed during any of those trips, Smith said that isolated the cause to one thing alone: “The cause is that he dropped his cellphone.”

I loved the viral tweet from a year or two ago where they were like "if I were stopped at a crosswalk and Elon Musk walked in front of my car, I would engage the FSD"

LOL. To reward Musk for his runaway success this year at tanking sales, single handedly toxyfying the Tesla brand, and contributing to a massive regulatory sized credit hole in their upcoming balance sheets, the dick sucking board has rewarded him with ~$30 billion in shares. Shareholders should perhaps realize the board is in no way looking out for shareholder interest.
But at least he finally has the financial ability to solve world hunger, so that should be great.

What would the board of Tesla do without Musk? Without his brilliant napkins sketch of a dumpster with wheels, where would they be now? I guess they wouldn't have a production line built for 250k vehicles, and only selling 25k a year.
Seriously though, without Musk lying and hyping everything, the stock would fall drastically. And they would personally lose billions. So it makes sense for them to keep him around. They know it. He knows it. Shareholders know it. The mind-blowing part is it's all mostly based on bull#### though, and most people are aware of it. Like does anyone actually think after a decade of "coming in two weeks" anything is still "coming in two weeks"? How dumb do you have to be to believe that? I guess the reality is it doesn't matter, as long as people buy your stock.
