They for sure missed Kirky and Springer the last couple of games. Getting those two back and then Varsho as well, should straighten out the offense. I doubt they add a big bat, but they need to at least add some depth to the offense, preferably from the right side.
Hoffman needs to be able to locate the fastball to setup the split and slider, if he can't locate and hangs the others he is very hittable.

This is hilarious. Just an absolute trainwreck of a series.

No Springer again? Have they said if he has a concussion?

Every broadcast should have Caleb Joseph doing an Eeyore impression. That was gold.

Another highlight catch by Mullins to take away a home run... but at least we got another run that inning.

That was an unreal catch. Too bad - that was 2 runs and back to the top of the order.

Wow. That was the fastest I've ever seen a team blow a 4 run lead. It was cute when the Jays thought they could beat the orioles.

Clement with an awful, awful day. Thank god for Fisher. That was nails.
After their day off tomorrow, I think they need to give guys at least a few games in a row at the same defensive position. Footwork at each position is different as are the angles that the ball is coming from. Give guys a chance to be comfortable and re-establish their mojo.

Jackson Holliday has the most punchable baby face in baseball right now. He looks like a stereotypical cocky bully from the movies. Just an arrogant looking twit. I'm glad he's struggling to find his footing.
I'm so glad the Jays snuck out a win. Would have been a long day and half otherwise. But perfect timing for a bad series. Shows that relying on replacement level players to continue to punch above their weight class was not sustainable. Varsho, Springer, and Kirk will all be coming back in the next week which will help. But if the Jays need to package some of their glut of outfielders for some big game fishing at the deadline I'm all for it.
