on another note, could you not just slide down on the pads? would that not be graceful as a fairy ballerina with pixie dust?

I'd think the pads would create a lot of friction. Because they have a lot of stitching and such.

Back on topic: I too think that a straight superman slide wouldn't work as the pads would collect the snow. It would have to be your standard, lie out straight and horizontally, then roll sideways down said hill.
