feels a bit like when Lemmy died. Lived far longer than you'd think, given all the alcohol and drug abuse, but still feels a bit surreal when it really happens.

That's a decent lifespan given the lifestyle.

In my mind, I always thought that the world in general started a downward spiral when Lemmy died in 2015. It took a further dip when Neil Peart died in early 2020. Now that Ozzy's gone I'm terrified about what's coming down the pipe.

This has been floating around the internet for a few weeks now. There's literally too much emotion to describe. And it belongs here.

I don't know if it's my favorite song of his, but it's always the one I think of when I think of him. I just watched that video and I can't believe he was only like 42 at the time!

Ozzy is unique in that he had two mammoth, yet distinct careers. Obviously his work with Sabbath is significantly more influential, but his solo career is nothing to scoff at.

The reach of influence is absolutely overwhelming to think about. ICON

WTFFFFF. After his recent finals tour, I've been down the Ozzy Black Sabbath rabbit hole the past few weeks and loving it. Very sad news to hear. May he RIP.

Would've turned 77 by the end of the year, that's a good run for anyone. RIP to a legend in every sense of the word.

His voice was actually pretty decent right up until the end. You can't say that for a lot of rock/metal vocalists. His early solo stuff right up to No More Tears was really influential on me growing up.
