I think we're really sleeping on Arseni Sergeev. He would be top-10 on most teams' prospect lists- he's an extremely good goalie who has developed well, despite a bit of injury trouble over the years. I'm very excited to see him in the pros.

Agreed. I made the case for him in last year's rankings, mostly to deaf ears. He's absolutely a bonafide goalie prospect. You'll probably seeing him sharing the net with Wolf within 2 years.

I really like this strategy that Conroy is using to rebuild the team. He's playing the cards he's getting extremely well and isn't trying to overplay his hand. He's quietly built out a prospect base that forms the supporting cast of bottom 9 forwards and bottom 4 defense. He's had one A+ pick so far and turned that into a top-2 defenseman.
At this rate the flames will only need one or two disastrous seasons to find their franchise forwards, and then will be off to the races.
One of the great things about normal distributions is that you don't need to be terrible team to have a terrible season. You just need to be a subpar team with bad luck.

There are a few of us in here who are Sergeev fans, I believe Reggie Dunlop is another. I agree, he's progressed nicely and may advance quickly.

You can count me in on that as well.
Im torn now between nhl proximity and the last of the potential guys of which Sergeev is right at the top with Stockselius who we might be selling a little short.
Stromgren probably should have got a taste of the nhl. I think for solo as well as kuz this is kind of a make or break year and have played some games.
For me its almost a coin toss with guys at this point. I still think stromgren can be a bottom six nhl but Sergeev could have starter potential?
