Oneil Cruz just put on a show. Not necessarily for volume but for the size of those blasts. 513' is insane.

I'm glad they tweaked it so the big guys have a chance and it's not all about how many swings you can take. Watching Arozarena hit 30 310' line drives is not nearly as fun.

I tried to watch the home run derby and it was the boringist **** of my life, lol. So ridiculous. Did you guys watch all of it? Made even worse because they don't have the crowds mic'd up properly so it's just hit after hit and silence as it happens. Such a terrible way to spend an evening. They need to condense it so each batter isn't up there for four ****ing hours each time.

Likewise. What’s become apparent is that all pro sports all star games are for kids. But they haven’t adjusted to today’s kids who aren’t ignorant of silliness as I was 30 years ago. Behind the scenes it’s obviously for the sponsors but all these sports have to do something else. It’s total cheese.

At this point I don't think it's even hyperbolic to say that the Yankees are not a playoff team without Judge. He's been slowly regressing to a ridiculously high mean and they're losing in spades.

Their relief pitching is actually god awful. Every game I watch or look at a box score after, and their rotation guys look okay and their relief guys just get absolutely fisted.


Even tonight, they do a bullpen day and the opener gets tee'd off on and then the second guy they bring in gets smoked too. If there was ever a year to say #### it and load up this is the one.


Yankees? Holes
Rays? Holes
Red Sox? Literally traded one of their best players mid-season before going on a run so who knows if they can keep it up.
