Fair. And always consistency from the stewards in question. And the SC lights going off late. I don’t even know why he braked so hard. Had tons of room.
I can see why 10 seconds was the penalty instead of 5. The spray severely reduced vision and reaction time to avoid a crash. As we saw with Hadjars crash, it's impossible to react that quick. I'd say Piastri earned 10 seconds.
That was a crazy race. Wish I got to watch it instead of YouTube highlights.

That penalty was so ####ing stupid. 5 seconds would have been harsh but understandable. The race director ####ed this by calling in the SC so late. Oscar wanted to launch at the next corner so how the #### is he supposed to get some heat?
Annoyingly the F1TV onboard for Oscar has the rear view so we can't actually see if/how the RD ####ed things. On his onboard he gets the radio message the SC is coming in after he's hit the brakes (but that might be delayed). From Max's onboard the SC lights are still on at the start of that straight...you lose sight of the SC and then 7 seconds later Oscar hits the brakes. 12 seconds later he launched at the end of that same straight.
Calling a safety car because its wet and dangerous is also incredibly ####ing stupid. Let's just bunch everyone up into the spray. Brilliant stuff. Unsurprisingly it resulted in a second SC. VSC or red flag would be way more sensible. But I guess you gotta erase a 14 second gap for the British driver and then give him another 10 seconds. Would've been such a great finish if it was just 5 seconds.
It's fun having a rooting interest again. I'm totally unhinged. #### Lando and #### the FIA. Good for Hulk.

Honestly #### both Lando and Oscar for completely ignoring Hulk on that podium. Go watch the podium celebration again. His first ever podium and they completely shut him out. They’re both petulant children.
If it were Max and Lewis on that podium he would’ve been on their ####ing shoulders.

He was rumoured to have Ferrari interested in him too. Odd timing given they had the opportunity last year with the scandal to do away with him then. The back room discussions on this would be interesting, especially to know how much the Verstappens influenced.

I'm going to guess Cadillac. They're going to want to make some headlines. Bringing him on adds a certain je ne sais quois. That whole brand name thing.
